His steps quicken as he runs up the stairs to their flat, his gut telling him something is wrong.
“Lily? Everything okay?” James finds her, sitting in what would’ve been the baby’s nursery. The window’s been smashed and there’s glass on the floor, as if someone had tried to break in. Concern seeps through his voice as he tries his best to remain calm. ”Are you okay?”She doesn’t answer his questions and her reply is barely above a whisper.
“We have to move.”
He nods. “Godric’s Hollow?” Just like they had discussed.
“Godric’s Hollow,” she echoes.
